CPEX-Lab would like to cordially invite you all to the Kickoff Meeting of the Clouds and Precipitation Exploration Laboratory.
CPEX-Lab is a new competence center within the Geoverbund Aachen Bonn Cologne and Jülich (Geoverbund ABC/J), which is a geoscientific network between the Universities and Research Institutions in the region tackling the scientific and technical challenges of observing, understanding and predicting the evolution and dynamics of clouds and precipitation. Within CPEX-Lab we accomplish this by using passive and active remote sensing, which is one of the core competences of the new Lab. In addition, we build up new connections and strengthen the collaboration to model developers to improve models parametrisations, process understandig or optimize the use of renewable energy.
In the ZOOM meeting we would like to introduce CPEX-Lab, its activities and what you can gain from CPEX-Lab for your research activities or infrastructure.
